Pt. Jitendra Abhisheki
Exceptional Musician and Masterful Composer
Born to a princely Goan family rooted in music, an atmosphere of bhajan and keertan was prevalent in the family. Panditji’s father was a famed Keertankar, and he became his first musical guru. He later travelled to Pune in order to learn the intricacies of Raag sangeet, from Naresibua Patankar, an exponent of the famed Gwalior gharana. Pt. Jitendra Abhisheki learnt different styles of gayaki from Ustad Amjad Hussain Khan, (an exponent of the Khurja gharana), Pt. Jagannathbua Purohit (agra and other influences) and Gullubhai(Jaipur). Panditji inculcated various aspects of Khayaal Gayaki from the range of different gharanas he learnt from and created his own style. His work as a Guru is unparalleled, with numerous distinguished students who have now created a place of themselves with the new generation. Panditji was the recipient of countless awards all throughout his illustrious life, namely the prestigious Padmashri in 1998, as well as the Sangeet Akademi award, and the Dr. Homi Bhabha Fellowship.

Pt. Shounak Abhisheki
A leading name in the young generation of musicians, Pt.Shounak Abhisheki has carved a niche for himself , gaining prominence as an exceptional vocalist in the field of Indain Classical Music. A worthy son and disciple of the maestro Pt. Jitendra Abhisheki, Shounak’s presentation of Khayal is an aesthetic blend of the Agra and Jaipur styles of Hindustani Raag Sangeet He had the privilege of being trained by Smt. Kamal Tambe of the Jaipur Gharana, subsequently groomed by the rigorous tutelage received from his illustrious father. A regular performer in major music festivals in India, Shounak has also toured extensively overseas for a series of concerts in USA, the UK, the USSR, the Arabian Gulf, Thailand, Bhutan, South Africa, Europe etc.
Pt. Sudhir Nayak
Sudhir Nayak is the leading contemporary classical harmonium player. A disciple of Pandit Tulsidas Borkar.Pt. Sudhir Nayak has had the honor of having performed along with most of the legends of Hindustani classical music of our times. Sudhirji has been hailed as one of the most accomplished musicians in Hindustani Classical Music, with numerous concerts alongside the maestros of Classical Music to his credit. He was closely associated with Pt. Jitendra Abhisheki, whose music and versatility greatly inspired Sudhirji's journey as a musician.
Pt. Sameer Dublay
A vocalist par excellence, Sameer Dublay started under Pandit Rambhau Mate and mastered nuances of raags and performance technique with Pandit Jitendra Abhisheki, a legendary vocalist of Agra Gharana. At present he is learning from Dr. Ashok Da. Ranade, the great musician and musicologist. Sameer has toured extensively in India, UK, Europe, USA and Australia and has performed at numerous concerts. His CDs and writings are applauded. Sameer trains students from Lalit Kala Kendra, Pune University as a Guru and is Co-founder of Spectrum, an organization that imparts basic musical understanding through a well-designed Music Acquaintance Programme.

Shri. Ashish Nagpurkar
Shri Ashish comes from a musical family. He is a passionate and committed musician who developed an affection for Classical Music. He received taalim in harmonium by the legend Pt. Tulshidas Borkar and is now learning from Pt. Sudhir Nayak. He is also receiving lessons in classical music from Shri Nishad Bakre. Ashish got associated with Suranjan for his dedication to classical music.
