Horizons is a monthly concert series from Suranjan, aiming to provide a platform to young and upcoming musicians in Indian Classical Music, through a digital platform. Horizons will bring to you classical musicians from around the world, on the last Sunday of each month.

In this edition of Horizons, we feature two upcoming artists in the field of classical music, Shri. Simran Eden from Firozpur, India and Smt. Kasturi Deshpande from Alibaug, India
Simran Eden
Simran Eden is from Firozpur, Punjab, He got his early education in music from Dr. Amritpal Singh ji in Firozpur. And later he started learning music from famous Indian Classical singers Kashyap Brothers ( Banaras Gharana ). He has performed in many musical events such as

Annual Gurmat Sangeet Competition (Punjabi University Patiala) and many more. Along with Musical training he is pursuing a M-Phil. degree in Music from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar.
Kasturi Deshpande
Receiving taalim in Hindustani classical music from the age of eight, Kasturi shifted to Mumbai in order to pursue classical Music full-time. She comes from a musically inclined family. Her uncle Pt. Ram Deshpande is a renowned classical vocalist. Her father Shri. Bhalchandra Deshpande is a Tabla virtuoso, and her mother is a Sangeet Visharad. She has received training in Hindustani classical music from Smt. Sheetal Kunte, Shri. Nishad Bakre, Smt. Gauri Pathare in the past. She is currently training under Pt. Arun Kashalkar. She is a Sangeet Visharad from Gandharva Mahavidyalaya. In addition to this, she has a Master of Arts in Indian Classical Vocal from Mumbai University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Indian Music. She has received a number of prestigious prizes.
