Horizons is a monthly concert series from Suranjan, aiming to provide a platform to young and upcoming musicians in Indian Classical Music, through a digital platform. Horizons will bring to you classical musicians from around the world, in the last week of each month.

Artists
In this edition of Horizons, we feature two young and upcoming artists in the field of classical music, Shadaj Iyer from Ahmedabad, India and Ishan Ghosh from Varanasi, India.
Shadaj Iyer
Born on the 24th of December 2002, Shadaj is 16 years of age. He started his vocal
training at the age of 5 from his father Dr. Rajesh Iyer who is also a vocalist and later
formally under his guru Ustaad Shaukat Hussain Khan at the age of 7 as a student of the Saptak School of Music. He was adjudged
the Classical Voice of India (Juniors) and Classical Voice of Gujarat at the Sangeet
Milon Competition held at Lucknow and has performed at
the Jackfruit Festival at Bangalore , Saptak Festival in 2011 and 2016, Pandit Omkarnath Thakur Centenary
memorial function, among others.
Ishan Ghosh
Currently 19 years of age, Ishan Ghosh started learning music since the age of 4 years. Presently a student of bachelor of performing arts (B.P.A) from Banaras Hindu University, Faculty of Performing Arts, department - Vocal.
He is a disciple of Dr Ram Shankar Ji.
