Horizons is a monthly concert series from Suranjan, aiming to provide a platform to young and upcoming musicians in Indian Classical Music, through a digital platform. Horizons will bring to you classical musicians from around the world, in the last week of each month. Suranjan is proud to present season 2 of Horizons, from April 2021.

In this edition of Horizons, we feature two young and upcoming artists in the field of classical music, Shrihari Kulkarni from Bengaluru, India, and Anushri Talwalkar from Thane, India.
Shrihari Kulkarni
Being born in a musical family, Shrihari Kulkarni started learning basics of Hindustani
Classical Music in Kanpur from his mother Smt. Geeta
Kulkarni from the age of 3. Later, he pursued music under the tutelage of Pt. Keshav Rao
Thite, Miss. Lata Jahgirdar and Smt Madhuri Kusgal. He is currently
learning Kirana - Gwalior Gharana-based Hindustani
Classical music from Dr. Harish Hegde, a disciple of Pt.
Shripad Hegde. He has completed his Madhyama Prathama certification from Gandharva Mahavidyalay. In addition, he has also received the Kalashree award from the govt. of Karnataka, Bal Prashasti award, First prize in a national level classical competition conducted by MGM Foundation, a national level scholarship from SIFF institute, to name a few. He is currently pursuing his Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science.
Anushree Talwalkar
Anushree Talwalkar is the disciple of Shri Nishad Bakre. She has been learning under him for past 10 years. She is currently pursuing her Chemical Engineering under the Mumbai University. Some of her notable achievements are first prize in the Hindustani Classical Vocal Singing Competition 2010 organised by the Junior Red Cross, Mumbai, third prize in the Sangeet Bhushan Pt. Ram Marathe Smruti Spardha (Vocal) 2011 organised by Shreerang Kalaniketan, Talegaon, first prize in the All-India Music and Dance Competition (Khayal Gayaki – Juniors) 2014 organised by Swara Sadhana Samiti, Mumbai, first prize in the Classical Voice of India (Mumbai Round) 2016 organised by Sangeet Milon, Lucknow to name a few.
