Suranjan's focus is on promotion and propagation of Hindustani Classical Music in order to attract young generations and motivate them to pursue it. In line with this, we have several initiatives dedicated to classical music. This includes a wide range of activities like Live Concerts, Workshops, Thought Leadership, classical music competitions, etc.
Below are some of the activities that keep us busy!
Guru Abhivadan Sohala
Yearly event organized in the loving memory of Pt. Dinkar Kaikini on 2nd October each year
Concerts and Thought Leadership
Concerts combining thought-provoking discussions and mesmerizing live performances
All Suranjan concerts are incredibly unique in their own ways as they combine thought leadership and live performances in an extremely engaging manner. As an example, the Gharana Series focuses on the nuances and specialities of a particular Gharana at a time. Saath Sangat involves discussion and live performances by renowned accompanist on the role and challenges of accompaniment in classical music.
Workshops
Educational workshops for students of classical music
