Horizons is a monthly concert series from Suranjan, aiming to provide a platform to young and upcoming musicians in Indian Classical Music, through a digital platform. Horizons will bring to you classical musicians from around the world, on the last Sunday of each month.

Artists
This month, we feature two promising artists in the field of classical music. Swapnil Bhise, a tabla virtuoso from Mumbai, India and
Sahil Bhogale, a vocalist from Mumbai, India.

Swapnil Bhise
Swapnil Bhise is a much appreciated Mumbai-based tabla artiste known for his virtuosity. He studied under Sadguru Shri. Chandrakant A. Bhosekar, Praveen Karkare, and Pt. Yogesh Samsi. He has completed the tabla Visharad course at the Akhil Bhartiya Gandharva Vidyalaya. Swapnil has received several prizes like the gold medal at the All India Inter-University Association,Youth Festival, National level. He has performed on Indian television and AIR. He has also provided tabla accompaniment to several vocalists, instrumentalists and dancers and has also presented solo recitals.

Sahil Bhogale
Sahil Bhogale has been receiving training in Hindustani Classical Music under the guidance of Guru Shri. Nishadji Bakre since the past 10 years. He has received numerous prestigious awards in various Hindustani Classical Vocal competitions, such as
Pt. V. D. Paluskar Award (Bandra),
Sangeet Samrat Allahdiya Khan Award (Chembur),
Dadar Matunga Cultural Centre Competition Award
and Swar Sadhana Samiti competition Award, to name a few.
He has also been receiving a scholarship from the Dadar Matunga Cultural Centre (DMCC) for the last couple of years. He has just passed his 12th standard examination.
