Horizons is a monthly concert series from Suranjan, aiming to provide a platform to young and upcoming musicians in Indian Classical Music, through a digital platform. Horizons will bring to you classical musicians from around the world, in the last week of each month.

Artists
In this edition of Horizons, we feature two young and upcoming artists in the field of classical music, Chinmay Lele from Mumbai, India, and Prathamesh Amrule from Pune, India.

Chinmay Lele
Born on 26th October 1996, Chinmay Lele started learning music from a very young age. He started his classical music training under the guidance Smt. Varsha Bhave from 2002 to 2014, after which he started learning under the tutelage of Shri. Nishad Bakre, under whom he is currently training. Chinmay has a number of musical achievements to his name, including a Silver medal at 2016-17 Youth Festival organised by Mumbai University, first prize at the Aaroha classical competition organised by St. Xavier's College, third prize in the competition conducted by Kusumagraj Pratishthan, Nashik, and second prize in the competition organised by Swar Sadhana Samiti, Mumbai to name a few. He has also performed at various prestigious venues, as a solo performer in the programme 'Amrutswar', as well as 'Saamgan', organised by Kalangan, Mumbai. In addition to this, he has regularly performed at various events. Academically, Chinmay has a BA degree in Economics from Mumbai University, as well as a Post Graduate degree in Music from Pune University.

Prathamesh Amrule
Prathamesh has been learning tabla for the last 15 years. He started his training under the guidence of Pt. Sameer Suryawanshi, for 10 years. Currently, he is learning tabla under the tutelage of Guru Pt. Ramdasji Palsule. Academically, he is learning in the Lalit Kala Kendra Pune University for M.A Music Tabla. He completed his Visharad Exam in Tabla from Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, Miraj. In addition to this, he is also trainung in 'the prestigious Avartan Gurukul under Guru Pt. Ramdas Palsule and Guru Taalyogi Pt. Sureshji Talwalkar. He has also performed in Avartan Gurukul's festival and in the prestigious Guru Abhivadan Sohala of Taalyogi Pt. Suresh Talwalkarji. He has performed with his guru Pt. Ramdasji Palsule in many festivals of music in Karnataka, Mumbai, Nashik, Pune and many more cities. He has been awarded the prestigious Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Pune Scholarship, as well as the Madhukar Rao Kothare Award and Scholarship in London.
