Pt. Kedar Bodas
Legend of Gwalior Gharana
Pt. Kedar Bodas is known for his khayal gayaki in the Gwalior gharana style. Kedarji was born to a family with strong musical legany. His father Pt. Narayanrao Bodas was legend Marathi stage-actor, and passed his love of music onto his son. He had a childhood fascination for the tabla, but soon settled on vocal music, going on to develop an eclectic, esoteric style.
